Personal Experience
Very very, good movies quality with s-video or the provided RGB to component. Computer images are bright and clear. The remote control is a good size and has the ability to shift aspect ratios with a touch of a button. DVD SATv proform with blacks being black, and so on. Bigger than the PB2120 which I also have, the PB2700 has more conecting features. The Proformce specs. between the two are almost the same but 7100 has 600 more lumens than the 2120. Dim to lightly lit rooms the 7100 can handle it. Best proformace in movie darken rooms. Great quality and construction, very easy to use. USB connection for mouse is useful, great for HTPC setups. Very recommended.

Shut down and start up right way is a waiting game. If lamp get to hot- auto shut down, then another waiting game. Only happen every hot blue moon, so just keep it cool and plenty of air going though. No problems after that.
