Personal Experience
This got to be one of the best projector for data, and home theater. Using a standard DVD (non progressive) switch the projector to sRGB; and by using the on board Faroudja video processing, the projector produced a smooth, film-like quality image. In data mode it produced the sharpest XGA resolution DLP image I’ve ever seen. The picture was razor sharp and equal or better than the best LCD screen. I would highly recommend this projector with a high contrast 100" 4:3 format screen for an awesome viewing experience.
Problems
I do not notice any problems with the projector except the fan needs to be a little bit quieter. Also my friends, wife, and I don’t notice any rainbow affect neither.
