How can I tell you that this is a great projector? I have owned it for 10 months but have only been able to use it for 8. The picture resolution is outstanding.
Problems
Problems: 1. My projector out of the blue started making this wirring rubbing sound. Optoma had it for a month. I was told the color wheel had come off its track. (1 month down time) 2. Not long after receiving the projector back from Optoma, the bulb blew. (a one month wait for a new bulb) 3. Not more than 2 months of use since its trip to Optoma, the device now has dead pixels that are viewable and noticible. (waiting for a response from Optoma on what, if they will do anything about it) My obvious complaint here is that for 8 months of use it was totally unexpected that the chip would start failing. Now maybe its just my luck to fall on a bad one. I will follow up on Optoma's response to the latest problem once I hear back from them. (from experience.....probably a month).
