Personal Experience
The image quality of the H76 is excellent. I have had visitors to my home theatre comment the image quality is like "being at a real movie house". I rate this projector excellent in all areas. I purchased it four months ago and reliability so far is excellent.

Problems
I did have a problem with the remote control working only about one third of the time. I phoned Optoma tech support and obtained excellent customer service. Optoma sent UPS to pick up the projector on a Monday and had a brand new H76 at my home the following Friday. The remote control on this projector worked perfectly. This is the H76 I am now using and have had no other problems. (The lens shift function worked on both projectors.) The quality of Optoma customer service is excellent, just like the H76 projector they manufacture. I do not think you will be disappointed in any way if you purchase an H76.
