Personal Experience
I used three xgp10xu projectors on stage for a series of concerts last summer. The xgp10xu projectors are bright, but they suck in every available dirt particle and the LCDs easily develope dead pixels. All three of our projectors needed to have the LCDs cleaned and serviced at the factory after only 3 months of use. They get dirty because they have small innefficient paper thin foam air filters. The xgp10xu is fine if you can afford to pay to have them serviced regularly or if you are going to hook it to the ceiling of an air conditioned office. We switched to Epson 7800p projectors this spring and have not had any problems since. If you have a choice, go with a projector that does not need as much maintenance as the xgp10xu.
