| I purchased this projector with two main criteria in mind -- color fidelity and resolution. In the XGA range of projectors, it is not an easy selection. I was a bit weary when I was able to get this projector for $1795, however, once I set it up and used it, I was pretty impressed. Setup is fast and easy. It will automatically scan for the appropriate input and select that one for you. The color fidelity is incredible. You can also tweak it pretty easily. Contrast did not disappoint. I do not see any rainbows during movies. It is also very bright. I measured the actual lumens at just below 2000, however, when I purchased projector, I went under the assumption that every manufacturer inflates the lumen values. I use it now in a room with five windows and can see a nice picture even in the daylight (with the shades mostly closed). It is definately a good buy for the $ and beats out most that are higher $'s. It is super quiet and let me tell you (as a projector owner for 10 years) that this is a very important feature. You can compare this projector to central air conditioning over a window AC. That is how quiet it is. I definately recommend this for any projector user - new or old. |

| Does not stay in ECON mode - need to reset every time. However, I mostly use it in regular mode anyhow. |
