Personal Experience
I have to replace the $450.00 bulb about every 200-300 hours, which is very expensive not to mention the down time. I would not recommend this projector to my worst enemy even though it has a great picture.

Problems
Very poor design, the air intact filters have to bee cleaned almost weekly, which would eplain the short bulb life. The filters also allow some particulate to enter the projector and blurr the picture.
