Works fine when it works. Very small and portable and has good features for size/price.
Problems
It seems to me that all BenQ PB2220's have some design flaw where the fan eventually goes bad and starts ringing very loudly. When I first got mine, it worked well for about 3 months and then developed a very loud fan ringing that eventually evolved into a fan clanging and then into the fan not working. I hot swapped it for another unit (hotswapped units are refurbished) which also developed fan problems after a few days. I then swapped that out, and they were nice enough to give me a new unit. This worked fine for 9 months, and is now devloping a ringing fan noise. I am just now hot swapping it out (at the very end of the year period where you are allowed to) for another unit. I hope that this one works for a while, because the 1-year hot swap period will be over and I will have to send it in in the future for service. So all three out of three units I have received have (sooner or later) developed fan problems. It is too bad that places like Projector Central can't keep units for several months to see what problems eventually develop. I love the unit and its features otherwise, but it is just a ridiculous pain having to worry about fan problems and deal with issues like this. Yes, features are nice, but sooner or later you realize all you really want is it to work with no problems. For the record, I use it in the center of a well ventilated room on a mount which allows for plenty of air circulation.
