| Personal Experience |
| Wasn't so lucky out of the box. But Optoma reset my internal settings to video bliss. I'm totally satisfied, and couldn't be happier with my decision. I've inserted a Iscan HD processor between my 480i source (DVD) and the projector, so movie viewing at a downtown movie house would be a definate step down. Honestly. I've experienced zero artifacts in the first 150 hours of use. The colors are rich (especially reds) with extraordinary black levels. I prefer the "Brite" mode, as it gives me a very film-like image with no burn spots whatsoever. I did consider all the usual suspects, but found the H77/Iscan HD combo unbeatable in that price range. |
