Personal Experience
I actually found a leftover Studio Experience edition of this model. The projector is bright as promised. HD movies look superb - I couldn't see screen door at 90" screen size.

Problems
The only disappointment was a noticable loss of quality when scaling my laser discs, stardard def sattelite, and interlaced dvd. I solved this with a DVDO iscan HD. If you want to watch lower resolution formats on this projector the video processor was well worth the money.
