Personal Experience
In my experience (which is 15 years in the Home theater electronics buisness) I have never seen a projector produce an image this good! Ive seen this projector side by side with the BQ 8700 and Infocus 7205, and it blows both of these out of the water. The transvision Scaler box really does its job on scaling all images to high def. The unit itself it pretty lightweight, it has a beautiful picture, deep black levels, virtually no artifacts and best of all the contrast ratio is on of the best ive ever seen. Whether or not its playing video games with a low contrast ratio, or watching a dark night time scene of a movie the contrast on this projo brings out fine details that others dont. All of this is coming from an extremely picky home theater fanatac!! This unit is by far the best bang for the buck in a high end piece!!!

Problems
the transvision scaler box can be a little fustrating to program into a universal remote.
