| Using the Svideo inputs, picture quality is stunning. Looking at the current DLP offerings in the same price range, and they fall short. DLPs seem to lack sharpness and color fidelity, especially the reds. Tested the image produced using Ronin, which has lots of dark scenes, still fine detail was visible. Using Air Force One, the colors were vibrant and the ability to fine tune skin tones is great. Only high contrast white and black areas was there some jagged edges. Switching to Super Speedway DVD, the TW100 automatically switched to 4:3 output. The color needed some minor fine tuning, after which the images were larger than life. Epson could produce a ceiling mounting bracket, and maybe use buttons on the remote joystick, but these are minor complaints. Overall an excellent product. |
