| After owning a Sony 7" CRT Front Projection system with line doubler for 5 years, I had my doubts about the Toshiba- or any non-CRT system. I was wrong. It was like lifting a veil-- absolutely sharp and stunning image with far more dynamics than the Sony. Sharper, clearer and with superb color range. The clarity alone takes on a new dimension I've yet to experience in any video projector. I compared my Sony system with the Toshiba with Star Wars: Attack of The Clones chapter 7. The Sony was like watching a very good projection while the Toshiba DLP system was like a 70mm or Imax presentation. It's that good. Talk about bright! Yet, with all that brightness, the dynamics are maintained and held right down to the darkest tones. And this is on a 16:9 Stewart Studiotek screen that's 8 feet wide! I selected "Film" gamma from the menu and used economy mode. The system automatically can detect the input source. This projector is also offered as the InFocus Screenplay 7200 with similar specifications. Maybe a few minor differences. If you have the budget for it, you'll enjoy the Toshiba. Absolutely outstanding. |

| The DVI connector jack is non-standard and won't work with most HDTV set-top boxes and HDTV DirecTV receivers. I used the component outputs instead. |
