Personal Experience
I just purchsed the moviemate 25 yesterday. $999 including 80" pull up screen. I have never owned a projector before and have been looking into this for about a month. The setup was very easy. It took longer to put up the screen than to start the projector and movie. I set this up last night in the garage just before sunset. The projector has built in JVC DVD progressive scan player and speakers. Also includes a subwoofer. The sound was really not bad, and it has a digital audio out if you want to add your own theater sound. We watched some of Revenge of the Sith and all of Raiders of the lost Ark. I thought the picture was very crisp and bright, even with a decent amount daylight coming in. Once it was dark out and we closed the garage door for total darkness the picture was excellent. I had two neighbors come over and really loved it. Both comented on how bright and cleat the picure was.
Adjusting focus and size was very easy with dials on the top. I really liked the dial controls to adjust the angle of the picture. There are no adjustable legs to mess with. So far I really like the unit. I mainly bought this for movie nights in the front with kids and neighbors and I think it will work perfectly for us.

Problems
None so far. It a little bigger than most projectors, but that is because the DVD player and built in speakers.
