| Let me begin by saying that I am a resller of this and many other projectors, including Screenplay by Infocus, Sanyo, Sharp and Hitachi. I also have in the past carried Panasonic. That said there is no question in my mind that this projector provides the best banfg for the buck in the sub $3000 price range. The brightness (1400 lumens) is on the high side of the other competeing models. Contrast ratio at 3000 to 1 is not the highest but don't be deceived it is excellent. Black levels are dead on. Detail is excellent. Warranty is 2 years (90 days lamp). It is chock full of great features. Lens shift is the best that I have encountered. (do-it-yourselfers ...this is a must have feature) There is easy remote access to contrast, gamma, and color temp Anyone considering mounting this is a soffit or enlosed area will like the fact they it vents out the front. If I can find any flaw it is in the aspect ratio changes from the remote. I wish Epson would make it easier to change aspect other than a drop down menu. this is a mino inconveneience but would be easily 'fixable. All in all a fine piece of equipment. I give it 4.8 stars. Buy with confidence. |

| It is too early to tell in that these only started shipping the first of December. I have been selling the Epson line for over a year and have installed dozens of them without a single failure. (including no lamp replacements). Reliability is better than anything else I have encountered. |
