Personal Experience
I purchased the Moviemate 25 about a month ago after researching the best home theater type of projectors. We have been amazed with the picture quality and the quality of the sound. I have a 44" Toshiba Cinema series television and a Bose 300w sound system already set up in my den. The sound quality of this system is so good I have never bothered to tie into the Bose system. The 80" picture is outstanding and it is better than any of the plasma sets we were looking at in a darkened room. You have no problem watching this projector in normal room light (lights off) during the day. This is the system to buy if your main use will be to watch DVD's. It is better than those costing thousands more. The screen and sub woofer that comes with the projector are of great quality also. We have owned the system about a month and logged about 40 hours of movies on it so far.

Problems
The throw distance is short so the projector is going to be in the middle of the room unless you want to put up a 200" screen. I solved the problem by placing my projector and subwoofer on a low TV stand with casters. I just roll it out of the way when not in use, lower the screen into its case and you would never know it is there.
