Personal Experience
Got the european equivalent of this model (EMP-TW600). Same feedback than others. This is an excellent projector for this price range. I use it in a dark home theater room on a 108" screen. It gives the best results with a Media Center PC on a native 1280x720 resolution.

Problems
- Image format indeed not easy to access from the remote. Couldn't gave right L/H ratio for a fullscreen NTSC DVD but got it right with all widescreen ones (both PAL and NTSC).
- Need to adjust color/light for bright pictures.
- There's an RS232C interface on the projector but no indication on how to use it. Seems Epson has a software for other projectors (Cinema Color) that is unfortunately not provided with that one.
