Personal Experience
Over the past year I have trialed several friends projectors to try and understand exactly what I wanted from a projector. In the end I stumped for this one on the basis of the value for money v features argument. I have now had the projector for a month and have found the following. (All view are based on use at 4-6meters from target using a top end computer for home video viewing through a VGA Cable).

The basic set up of this projector is easy. It offers digital keystone correction in the vertical plane but not the horizontal (So it has to be pointing straight at the screen but can be pointing up or down at it). The menus are easy to understand and adjust. One feature I would like to have seen which is not available is a direct adjustment of Red, Green, Blue levels. However what is available is a range of modes i.e. Gaming, picture etc which allow adjustments to be made, in addition there is a menu to adjust flesh tones. Focusing and zoom are Manual (NOT DIGITAL AS STATED ON THE SPECIFICATION ON THIS SITE) the mechanism is chunky and can be a little difficult to fine tune for focus. This may be relevant if you are doing presentations as you will be doing this a lot. Equally the zoom does not offer a large range which can effect presentations. If, however you are keeping the projector in one place it is less relevant. (If you are ceiling mounting an option is available in the menus to flip the image upside down).

Connectors are limited due to the budget, VGA in, VGA out, S Video.

I was amazed at just how bright this projector is! At 4-6m in a dark room it is too bright. The Economy mode sorts this though and the image is good. The native resolution of this projector is 800 x 600 and as such once the image is extremely large it can be difficult to read text if you try to push the resolution too high. The picture quality for home cinema is excellent I was astounded at the value for money the it represented during a home cinema experience. I have had no problems with the images, however my other half has seen some rainbows (But these have not been enough to stop her using it all the time!). If you are someone who gets rainbowing effects I would look for a DLP projector with a faster mirror speed (x4). If you don't know if you are effected go to a shop and trial some. Industry standard is that Rainbowing is an acceptable fault and so you cant return the item if you get any rainbowing. Please note I don't believe the majority of people would be effected by this and this projector is no more likely to give you rainbows than any other DLP projector.

Overall I would recommend this projector for Budget Home Cinema. Bulbs are cheap, Lamp life is massive and its easy to use.
