| Wow. I purchased this projector mainly for use with DVDS, but I plan to get HDTV in my theater room sometime soon. Let me say the image is breathtaking (More on that). Maybe it's going from a 34" CRT tv to this, but I doubt it. The features are easy, I had it up and running with my system within the hour. I sat down, popped in 'Red Eye', grabbed my popcorn and soda, and this is what I came up with. Picture is amazing. I bought the VESA to component adapter when I got the projector. WOW. This is needed. Afterwards I switched back to regular S-Video. It was good. But not as good. Pixelation isn't there. I'm sitting 8 feet back and the projector is ceiling mounted 10 feet back. Brightness is good during the day, best at night. And now for those rainbows. Okay, I was watching Red Eye and yes, I saw three rainbow artifacts. Three. They were quick. Like if you were to snap. If you shake your head like you have severe epilepsy, you will see them. I don't know about you but I don't watch movies to give myself a headache. They're there. But I researched this for a while and everybody thought they were horrible. Not the case. Maybe I am not part of the 10% that is severely affected, but there's a 90% chance that you aren't. |

| The feeling when I didn't encounter rainbows (NOT). Sound (only in really quiet scenes, but I think it adds to the theater experience). |
