Personal Experience
I have had this unit for a little over a year and have nearly 2,000 hours on the bulb. It has obviously become our main "TV". For the money I have been very pleased. Only thing I wish it had were a remote with sleep timer. Picture is excellent in dark room, during the day I wish it were better. Upon our initial purchase we figured the home theater room would be occasional use, but is used daily. I think this indicates the quality of the picture. We project it on a screen painted with screen goo (120" dia). Connected to HP DEC Computer and Sound from the Bose Lifestyle system. Also have Playstation connected as well. Everything works great together.

Problems
I have had issues where the bulb won't light up on initial start. Usually a shut down and restart will fix. Once running no problem. When it gets real bad I have to remove and reseat bulb as well as blow out all the dust it collects. This may be normal for all projectors, I don't know.
