| If your on a budget and want a no-frills home theater projector, you can't go wrong with this unit for around $800. The image it throws is very comparable to the X1 I use to owned however the image is much brighter, colors are more saturated, and the best thing- it is very quiet. I can here my xbox 360 over this unit when it's just idling in the dashboard. The low db's were the main selling point for me. DVD's looked exceptionaly well. I have a Samsung 841 upscaling to 720 progressive and the picture is sharp and well saturated. Xbox 360 games are just breathtaking on this projector. Again very saturated colors and bright enough in ecomo mode for day time use. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a projector for home theater use. I wasn't really designed with home theater in mind but it crosses over nicely and does a great job for movies and game night. |
