Personal Experience
This projector is a great deal for the right price!
Variable viewing modes make it easy to toggle between high brightness PC mode all the way down to low brightness movie mode. If you are planning on watching a lot of tv with this unit and you are a stickler for quality, make sure you have HDTV. Otherwise it plays DVDs with remarkably good image quality, even at a 118 inch projection size (diagonal). All in all great projector.

I was very impressed with brightness of this unit.

Problems
There is a rainbow effect present in high contrast situations. Having said this, if you set the projector down to eco mode and use a lower brightness setting you can minimize this effect. I also find that introducing some ambient light in the room also helps. Not all people are affected by this problem, but you really have to be looking for it to be bothered by it.
