| While it worked, it did a fine job. I had trouble with dust blobs getting into the machine and showing up on my picture image. |

Dust blobs. I hot-swapped my PB7200 with BenQ and got a new PB7200 projector about 8 months ago. The bulb died on it (after 7 months use), so I ordered two new bulbs on Jan 20, 2006 and I am still waiting. Word has it that BenQ may not be manufacturing the bulb for the PB7200. I sent them a complaint about not supporting the equipment that they manufacture and have not received a reply. What was a nice machine is now only an $1800 piece of crap without the bulb. You may want to consider projectors that companies will support, even when the projector itself has been discontinued from manufacturing. It is a pity because I bought BenQ based on these reviews, and for their reputation for quality. What good is any of that, if you cannot get a bulb for your projector? It throws the value rating right into the bottom. |
