Personal Experience
If money was no object two years ago, you would have purchased the Sony Qualia 004 at $30,000. Now Sony has introduced another projector with many of the same features for $20,000 less. The beauty of this projector is its black level which is sorely missing in most LCD projectors. Besides black level you get great sharpness, color fidelity and brightness. Check out the picture before you buy and you'll be convinced that this is one of the best LCD projectors on the market at a reasonable price.

The replacement bulb on the VPL-VW100 is $1000 which is higher than most LCD projectors on the market. Is the bulb that expensive to produce or is Sony gouging customers?
