Personal Experience
We purchased 40 units for ceiling mount in classrooms. I like that they have economy mode, and auto shut off. I like the brightness to dollar ratio and advanced replacement. Needs to have an IR disable function (see below). Would work best for a road warrior, I do not recommend it for permanent installation.
Problems
Would not recommend for ceiling mounting as the image cannot be focussed on both the bottom and top simultaneously. For this to work top of image and top of projector must be at the same height. We found we had to tape over the IR receiver as the room's lighting motion sensor interfered with control system (RS232) operations. Of the 40 we purchased we had 6 that experienced lamp problems. After working with Dell, they finally sent us a replacement unit for testing and found that the lamps were bad. Because it is after 90 days (but less than 100 hours of use) they are out of warranty.
