Personal Experience
I don't know what to say.. I felt a bit cheated on by Infocus when I opened the box. I actually thought that I was buying a X1 with an updated firmware, but what I got was a X1 without a carrying case, remote control and a Farudja de-interlacing chip. Immediately I was suspicious. I have been using the component connection and the picture quality has been OK but not super. Since I will have to lead the cables through a narrow pipe in the wall I have not yet invested in decent cabling. For the price I am relatively happy BUT I will be very careful the next time I buy something from Infocus.

I have the projector ceiling mounted right above the sofa (at 3m height) but still the noise from the projector is bothering me. so the usual solution is to turn the Dolby system to full blast. Doesn't do any good when the soundtrack is silent though. The noise really bothers me!!
