| This is a great projector for the money. I got it a week ago and I and my wife are thrilled with the picture. I was a bit hesitant at first since the resolution is only 854x480, but I thought the ease of use would outweigh that. Sometimes you can see the screen door effect, but it is not objectionable. You mostly notice it on movies that aren’t that good ;-) Being a self contained “Movie Machine” with DVD player and audio speakers more than makes up for the “low” resolution, even though the resolution is still better than a standard DVD. Brightness and contrast are great. I’m still having trouble getting the “included” screen so I’m projecting on a 4 foot by 8 foot sheet of white Styrofoam and it still looks great. The new “King Kong” (wide) and the restored “Wizard of Oz” (standard) both look great. I haven’t tried it with an external source yet, so I can’t comment on that. |

| Problems |
The only problems I’ve encountered are with my supplier shipping a screen that arrives undamaged. Beware that some suppliers are un-bundling the projector and the screen and offering the screen separately for about $200. If you find a supplier that offers this for less than $1,199 make sure they are including the screen. Also this projector does not have a VGA or DVI input, so if you want to project a computer display, you computer will have to have an s-video output (my notebook does).
