Personal Experience
I will keep this short since there are tons of excellent reviews of the Z4 (which helped make my choice of which projector to buy pretty easy). The picture is incredible- Blacks are dark, colors are true (with a little help from calibration DVDs), and the fan noise has never been noticible for me (and it is ceiling mounted right above the couches). I have a totally light confrolled room with da-lite high contrast matte white 16:9 screen (gain = 1.1). There are tons of custom settings to tweak (you can save 4 user settings)in addition to many good presets. The one area I would have given over 5 stars would be "value for money" - the price has dropped below 1600, with a free bulb rebate(and I think screen too). If you have the right room for it there is no way you can get better picture for that price. One piece of advice: if you are ceiling mounting it- get a good one and it will make life much easier.
Problems
No problems- I do find you need to adjust the settings for each game/movie/show for the best possible picture, but that is no fault of the projector and only takes a few seconds.
