| This is my first projector. I have had it for a few weeks now and have been using it frequently. Before buying I did extensive research and found this unit for a smoking deal of 799.00. Now, I know this isn't the best projector out there on the market, but for those of you who are looking, this unit is an amazing bang for your buck. I have a 120" screen set up right now just projecting onto the wall, and it looks amazing. I have done some measuring and it looks great if you are sitting 11 feet or more away. If you get any closer than that you can start to see the screen door effect(pixelation) in the picture. But who needs to sit closer than that for a ten foot screen. The color is incredible. In fact I had to reduce it down a bit. A couple of things get annoying at time though, like the fact that in order to get a 10' screen the projector has to be 17' away from the wall. So unless you have an extremely large living room, youre not going to get a huge screen. I find it is also difficult to level the screen. I am using a DVD underneath one of the back corners right now. I have also had to up the brightness a bit to compensate for the low 850 lumens. But all in all just to end off on a high note, my dad and brother liked mine so much they went and bought one themselves. And also three of my friends are planning to ditch the overpriced big screen idea and opt to get an optoma. You cant lose for the price. |
