Personal Experience
A friend of my had this projector for a conference room and used it fairly light. It did not get moved or lugged around. I found out that it went through a bulb a year for 3 or 4 years. This last time it blew and was followed by a bunch of smoke. When it worked it had a decent picture, but this projector was under built. Too bad, it was a nice cosmetic design on the outside.

Problems
Blows bulbs too often, if the bulbs were cheap I might understand. I am in Love with Epson's $150 bulbs on the S series and the Ruggedness of the Sharp Projectors. Infocus seems like a hit and miss projector, when they work, they do then have a nice picture. But so does many other projectors. By the way, I also had this model and the bulb never lasted very long for mine either, I had called Infocus but of corse they denied anything was wrong, but then said there was a firmware upgrade and I could pay around $100 for the "software fix".
