| I loved my PE7700. Then my bulb blew up at 400hrs. I have contacted Benq and they refuse to offer any help because I didn't keep my receipt from June 2005. Please beware that bulbs cost $400. And there is no guarantee how long new bulbs will last as the unit has a firmware problem. Where does that leave me??? Why do I write? Just to tell potential buyers to stay away from this particular unit and company. Just read 50% of the user's comments on this forum - all mention premature bulb failure. And SHAME on Projector Central for not calling this matter to its users attention. My basis for buying this projector was BECAUSE of Projector Central's glowing recommendations. I am disillusioned with this site and Benq. |
