| I like everything about this projector but two things, which unfortunately, REALLY are big problems. First the good: Good price for what it "should" do, bright picture, small and quiet for the power. I'm using it on a 140" screen, so I'm impressed with the brightness, given the throw and size. See the next section for the two problems I have encountered. |

| I purchased this from a dealer and they installed it, but they said the keystone is limited in how much it will adjust, so they had to lower the unit quite a bit in the back of my theater to get it to work. You about hit your head on it now when walking in the back. The second, and far worse problem, is there are vertical lines throughout the picture. JVC sold me on this unit because the D-ILA technology doesn't have the "screen door" effect. Well, mine has the "pin striped suit" effect, which is even worse, because no matter how far back you are, you see it. My dealer said they are going to be working with JVC to solve this problem for me. I figured a "bad" review here might help them (JVC) go the extra mile to get this right. My brother was interested in buying the exact same projector, but if they can't fix this problem, he will (and should) look elsewhere. Kevin |
