A very good projector for any first timer who needs to keep the wallet under control or for the person who wants to move up a notch from something 3 to 5 years old. I really love my HD70 - it does a good job in a room not designed for home theater and really shines when the lights go down. Off-The-Air HD looks gorgeous, satellite HD looks great, and 480p performance from my dvd player is very good. Use the HDMI connection for best results. I'm pleased and so is the family.

Problems
You will very likely have to do a little tweaking to get the picture you want but nothing to difficult and maybe just the brightness and contrast. But for me, there was a hint of green that had to be toned down. The only REAL problem? The FOCUS KNOB - good luck, and use binoculars to get it right.
