Personal Experience
It seemed like a great projector when i first got it, and i have impressed a lot of people with it. The image is clear and vivid, and hd is stunning. Sharpness is not that great however, and being an lcd projector, there are inherent problems with ghosting. Overall, i probably would have bought a different projector, maybe the sanyo one at the time.
Problems
There has always been a convergence problem with the projector, and after a year, it seems to have gotten worse. Although not noticeable at a distance except on text, there is a severe misconvergence of the lcd panels, mainly red, which is off by 1 to 2 pixels. This is unacceptable as it is clearly noticeable up close, and noticeable on text at a distance. It also causes an overall decrease in image sharpness. The 3 panel technology either sucks or panasonic sucks for not checking there projectors before they put them on the shelf. This is why i gave image quality poor, because it could be better, and should be. Now that it is over a year since i purchased it (my mistake), there is no way to have it fixed, although the stoners at panasonice would probably not cover it unless its 5 pixels off anyway. Panasonic technical support is atrocious, online and phone. There is not even a support page for the projector that can be accessed from there main site, and the tech support guy who answered my call after waiting on hold for 2 hours sounded like he was high, and was of no help. Don't get me wrong, its not a bad projector as you can see by the reviews, but its very likely that you will have a convergence problem, and that just isnt right.
