Personal Experience
I bought this as my first projector after researching them for a couple of years, as I saw that the HD70 was a good fit price/feature-wise. I'm projecting on a 106" Graywolf II and the image with my old 480p upscanning DVD player was very good; I have been very pleased this last month or so. Yesterday I hooked it up for the first time using the HDMI outputs on my cable box and WOW! The difference is absolutely tremendous. The image was perfectly clear and sharp; truly a "106 inch plasma!". I'm extremely impressed, and am now definitely going to get an HD DVD player, because I'm hooked on that great image.

Problems
Only gripe is the three miniscule (3mm) threaded holes used to mount a ceiling mount to the bottom of this (almost) $1000 investment. It might be strong enough but it just LOOKS sketchy.
