This was a replacement for a Toshiba TD-90P (the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EARTH...40+ hours on phone with no actual answers)...Bought the Optoma at Best Buy on close out...All I can say is "WOW"...the details I can see over the TDP T90P were shocking. Was worried about the low (1000lumens) output, a little dark on eco mode, but very good in Bright. The 4000:1 contrast with the AI function are mindblowing. The fan is super quiet, the controls and remote are very easy to use. Compared it against several others, you really would have to spent another $1000 to bet the performance. Optoma customer service reported as fairly good. All I can say is that the folks at Toshiba are so bad there are class action lawsuuts against them.
For the price you can not beat this projector. Even with standard DVD and S-VHS cable the image in striking. |
