Updated HT Review Schedule

We are currently working on several home theater projector reviews, including the Epson 8100, which is Epson's new entry level 1080p model priced at $1,599.

The Samsung A600 is almost complete and will be posted shortly. We also have Vivitek's H1080FD, which is their small 1080p model selling for $999.

Coming right after these will be the Optoma HD8600 and another 1080p model that is arriving later next week, but is not yet announced.

In general, we are reviewing all of the new home theater models as fast as we can in the order we are receiving the products from the manufacturers. So if you are looking for reviews of other models from Epson, Sony, JVC, and so on, be assured all of these units have been requested, and we are expecting delivery of them as soon as the vendors can get review samples shipped. Exactly delivery dates are always up in the air, so we never know for sure when a particular model will get here.

Heard the panny ae-4000 would be released in Europe but not in NA. Can you confirm? Any news about an ax-300?

Thank you!

As of today, the word is Panasonic has no intentions of releasing the AE4000 in the USA.

Am eager for a review on the Epson 8500/9500UB. Also how the new JVC RS15 compares against the RS10 in video quality and is it worth the extra $$$ over the new high contrast Epson units?
