Hi folks,

September is upon us already, and we've turned the corner into the fall season. That always means lots of new home theater projectors being announced at the CEDIA trade show, which happens next week in Indianapolis. We will be there as always, and we'll report all the latest product news on these pages as soon as we can.

By the way, if you are a regular CEDIA attendee and are tired of the same ole chain restaurants downtown, do not miss R Bistro for a terrific change. It is my favorite restaurant in Indianapolis and I always make a point of going there during the CEDIA convention. It is not a big place, and it books up in advance. So call for reservations at (317) 423-0312. (No, I don't have an interest in the place--I just appreciate creative, independent restaurants and want to lend my support--see you there next weekend!)

We'd like to thank all of our readers who have placed DVD orders through our new DVD Store. Your enthusiastic support of our site is very much appreciated. We will be adding new DVDs as well as books and other items soon.

Our hearts are heavy this week as we have watched the true magnitude of the disaster in the Gulf state region unfolding. For those who are motivated to help and have not yet done so, you may donate directly to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund. Our thoughts and prayers are with those whose lives have been decimated by this tragedy.
