This projector is a great value, the picture is excellent, and with 1200 hours on my first bulb, the brightness is still up there. The speakers are great. I do quality control for the largest A/V rental company in the world. I know projectors. I'mm really happy with BenQ PB8250.

Any Problems: The only problem I had was the the remote stopped working. I wish this unit had more color control in DVI-D mode. Other than that it looks great.

After using for 5 months in the office with less than 300 hours of usage. The image is washed off. i had to replace another lamp.

I purchased this projector for use in trade show environments where there is a lot of ambient light. This projector is bright! In fact it's almost too bright in some cases. The color saturation and sharpenss are amazing. The controls allow you to adjust the contrast and color temp to suit almost any situation. The projector is also very useful for showing TV presentations. The DVI connector also works with DVD players that have digital outputs. And the projector is very quiet so it does not distract from your presentations. Overall this is an excellent projector at a bargain price.

Any Problems: None whatsoever.

I had fine focus issues with a PB8220. Returned for a new one. Received a refurbished 8220 and called BenQ on it. BenQ replaced it with the PB8250!!!! My BenQ for the buck just went way up. My issue with fine focus appears to be just that, my issue. The refurbed 8220 and the 8250 both appeared the same to me as the original 8220. BenQ support and customer satisfaction are bar-none! I hope they don't read this and call ME on it!

Any Problems: I can't complain about the lack of 3-RCA component video because the are using a DB15 monitor cable like break-out cable (DB15 to YPbPr) and the 8250 has DVI too so i just have to run different cables now and get a DVD player with DVI out. Oh woe is me. BenQ treated me right! Thank you BenQ! Hey, I've fot two slogans for them! More BenQ for the Buck and Thank you BenQ. Call me, we'll talk. Thanks, Tim
