Compaq MP1600 User Reviews

The Compaq MP1600 is extremely easy to use, just plug it in and you're ready to give your demostration. Unfortunately the cooling is rather noisy and the lamp age isn't that good either. The again it's image is crystal clear, but it doesn't seem to handle full 24 bit colorspace. It has trouble especially with bright colors. You can connect VGA and digital video signal sources without any adapters, but to hook it up to a VHS or similar device, an adapter is needed and it's rather expensive.

Very good videopicture. Bit noisy though. You can make a hussbox for it,but leaf a lot of space around the machine,otherwise it will overheat very quikly. Do use an externeal scaler for best picture. Vga computer out or external linedoublers. Internal videoscaler is not good. Greetz : coen.

Any Problems: One started blooming after a while ,but Compaq replaced it 1 week later with 3!!! projectors. The other 2 i,ve send back ofcourse... I did get very good support and service from Compaq.

The beamer looks quite smart, but that is all good I can say about it. Do not buy t,his product, I only got trouble with it. Besides Compaqs service in Germany is a mess.

Don't waste your time and money on this machine. Immage quality is average to poor, no zoom lens, no composite videoinput and the terrible noise this thing makes!as if ur standing next to a jet. uhgg! better move on to the next!

Any Problems: Defective powersupply. Lamp defect. cause: overheating.
