The Davis DLS8 Projector is a SVGA Conference Room Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 800 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 800x600 . The internal DLP technology touts higher contrast, less visible pixels and more portability. This projector was first available for purchase in January 2000 and has been by Davis. The Davis DLS8 was also marketed as the Zenith DSV-100.

ANSI LUMENS is the most commonly accepted industry standard brightness measurement. The ANSI lumen rating measures the brightest white that a projector can produce by averaging nine light meter measurements taken across the projected image.
