To bolster their large venue projector family, Epson has announced four new compact, high brightness projector models—the EB-PU1006, EB-PU1007, EB-PU1008, and EB-PU2010—ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 lumens of light output.
All models will use a laser light source with a life of 20,000 hours and virtually no maintenance. The 3LCD projectors have a native WUXGA (1920x1200) 16:10 aspect ratio resolution with 4K enhancement via pixel shifting technology. Rated brightness for the projectors are 6,000 ISO21118 (ANSI) lumens for the EB-PU1006, 7,000 for the EB-PU1007, 8,500 for the EB-PU1008, and 10,000 for the EB-PU2010.

Existing interchangeable Epson lenses will be compatible with both the EB-PU1000 series and EB-PU2010 projectors. They support Epson's content management software and come with a built-in media player, making them suitable for business, education, digital signage, and exhibits.
