This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 1,600 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1920x1080 . The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut. The zoom lens on the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 6500UB has an impressive zoom ratio of 2.1x combined with the ability to shift the lens which allows for flexibility in positioning. This projector was first available for purchase in December 2008 and has been by Epson.
