The Hitachi CP-S310W Projector is a SVGA Portable Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 1,600 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 800x600 . The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut. This projector was first available for purchase in June 2001 and has been by Hitachi. The Hitachi CP-S310W was also marketed as the Boxlight CP-630i, 3M MP8647, and the Dukane ImagePro 8049.

ANSI LUMENS  is the most commonly accepted industry standard brightness measurement. The ANSI lumen rating measures the brightest white that a projector can produce by averaging nine light meter measurements taken across the projected image.
