The Hitachi CP-WU8450 Projector is a WUXGA Large Venue Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 5,000 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1920x1200 . The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut. The zoom lens on the Hitachi WU8450 has an impressive zoom ratio of 2x combined with the ability to shift the lens which allows for flexibility in positioning. This projector was first available for purchase in July 2012 and has been by Hitachi. The Hitachi CP-WU8450 was also marketed as the Dukane ImagePro 8974WU.
