The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut. Weighing in at 4.1 lbs, this portable projector is bright and compact, perfect for business travelers, taking on a family vacation or just moving from room to room. This projector was first available for purchase in December 2008 and has been by Hitachi. The Hitachi CPX4 was also marketed as the Dukane ImagePro 8785.

- Projecting onto colored or shiny backgrounds can make images appear either dull or uncomfortably bright. This mode ensures optimal brightness whether the screen is black, green or shiny white.
ANSI LUMENS is the most commonly accepted industry standard brightness measurement. The ANSI lumen rating measures the brightest white that a projector can produce by averaging nine light meter measurements taken across the projected image.
