Write a ReviewI have own one myself for one and a half year, until I gave it way as a gift to a church. This is incredible good value for the money. The projector is very trustable and have a nice quality. It is easy to use.
Any Problems: I had a disturbance in a cable which caused misscoloured screen. But with a change of cable that was easily taken care of. I used this projector every night for 15 days and I was very happy with it.
I bought the E400 a month ago and I was a bit disappointed at the lack of component (RGB) inputs to the projector. However, that was solved by picking up a component to VGA adapter cable. The projector has a DVI input so a simple VGA to DVI dongle was all I needed to connect my progressive scan DVD player and XBOX to the projector. The projector detected the DVD signal right off the bat at 480i. I have a Toshiba Progressive Scan DVD player so I hit the P.Scan button on the remote and the projector recognized the 480p signal without any problems as well. Let me say that progressive input is the way to go with this projector. S-Video and Composite don't look as clean as the component input does. The XBOX will output 1080i... the projector picked that up as well. Amazing! I've only been able to use it for a few hours since I bought it and so far it's been great! Movies are beautiful and console/PC gaming is breathtaking on my 96" screen. (Screen Goo on my basement wall). The only beef I have is the warm up time... it does take a few minutes for it to warm up before you can power on the projector. Perfect time to pop the popcorn before the movie! The remote control that comes with the unit is great. Easy to use menus as well. The projector also comes with every cable that you could possibly need to connect to the projector EXCEPT the component to VGA cable that I had to buy for an extra $35.00 CDN. Overall, it's a great entry level projector. Comparable to the Infocus X1/X2 that I was looking to buy before I picked the E400.
