Marantz VP4001 User Reviews

Have had this for a little less than a month. With the limited internet coverage for this projector, I was hesitant to purchase. At the sub-$1500 prices out there, this PJ cannot be beat. This PJ should especially appeal to those requiring a short throw. Best sleeper PJ that I've ever seen. Also, many sites may claim that this is a re-badged Sharp XV-Z3000. It is not. There are significant differences.

Any Problems: None yet, but I only have 20 hours on the unit.

I have had this projector for a month now and it is the tops in my book. After even looking at some of the new 1080p, forget the other 720p, they cannot match this projector's image quality and feature set. Marantz has surely done the job right.

I was searching for a quality PJ for under $3000.00. I reviewed and demo many and was luck to find this at $2500.00. This projector has an incredibly natural picture with lots of 3D pop and excellent black levels. It is extremely well made and constructed. Marantz quality at an affordable price. It is also excellent for sports with ambient light present.

Any Problems: None. This is a wonderful find.
