WOW, what a bargain. I would have preferred a higher resolution projector but after living with an X1 for a couple of years I place a higher priority on brighness, bulb life and maintenence. This thing is BRILLIANT, even in eco-mode, and frankly I think a bright projector has a higher perceived contrast ratio than its rating suggests

Any Problems: The X1 was very intuitive and logical as far as the remote, menu's, and manuals, the ES100u is rather clunky and confusing by comparison, therefore a lower rating for ease of use.

Wasn't sure about the SVGA resolution when I bought this, I figured I would give it a try.. but after using it, I fell in love. For the Price Point This Projector definately has the WOW factor. 5000 hour lamp at this price is unheard of. I am running a Dish Network HiDef DVR Reciever and am very impressed with it's ability to display HiDef images. Displaying on a Draper 90inch Hi Def Gray screen. I have put in numerous projectors in clients homes for their theaters, and have to admit, for the money, this projector can compete with any of the higher priced projectors out there.

Any Problems: Wish The remote was able to be programmed into my universal remote, or even my Dish Network Remote. Any Suggestions??
