Great projector, bought it off of eBay used and put in a new lamp for a makeshift home theater in the bedroom, its an amazing experience with the low noise and easy to setup system. It never failed to impress friends and family who keep bragging about their huge LCD and Plasma TVs

Any Problems: Like all the other reviewers, the color wheel blew itself up, an expensive repair proposition considering the age of the unit; not reliable. I will probably sell this off and go for another brand.

Great projector. Easy to calibrate, great picture, easy to maintain. Three years warranty, rare at that time. On the connection side it is very well equipped with its 5x BNC and DVI inputs. The only issue is with the colour wheel: it has failed twice.

Any Problems: Colour wheel failed twice. The first at 400hours. The second time at 550 hours. The latter the pieces have been scattered all around the machine.

This projector has an excellent picture and was fairly easy to set up. The problem is the first bulb blew at 300 hours and the color wheel disintegrated at 600 hours. Mitsubishi does not offer loaners on home theatre projectors.

Any Problems: color wheel and bulb failure.

Congratulation Mitsubishi Electric Japan! HC2000 is perfect. Vivid colours, high contrast ratio 3600:1, incredible low fan noise level (23dB), versatile input terminals (DVI, Component etc.), HDTV resolution, motorized zoom and focus, lens shift. I'm the most satisfied people now!

Any Problems: Maybe the factory should look for some italian designer :) you know the cabinet is very simple, this unin won't be the jewell of the room :)

The HC2000 has an outstanding picture...nice black levels, great colors, sharp image and it's really quiet (almost inaudible in "hush" mode) making it perfect for a theater-like setting. I love the look of the box, but hate the side-mounted power cable. Mitsubishi should have put it on the back. If that doesn't matter to you, this projector is as good as anything else currently on the market.
